About Professor Brian Cox:

Professor Brian Cox OBE is a particle physicist, a Royal Society research fellow, and a professor at the University of Manchester as well as researcher on one of the most ambitious experiments on Earth, the ATLAS experiment on the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. He is best known to the public as a science broadcaster and presenter of the highly popular BBC2 series Wonders of the Solar System, Wonders of the Universe and Star Gazing Live. He was also keyboard player in the UK pop band D:Ream in the 1990s.

- 1418 photos to accompany these birds and 203 songs/calls, helping with the identification process.

- Places section, which details reserves in the UK, allowing you to get directions, view the website, call them and view on a map, all from within the app!

- Ability to Tweet from the app

- A to Z list of birds

- Detailed information on each bird listed

- Recordings of calls and songs of birds

- Ability to record your favourite birds

- Search screen

- Family screen where birds are split down into family categories

- Fast and simple to use

Currently the app contains 268 UK birds but we will be updating it in the coming weeks to have more.
