The iSight Test is designed with mums, dads and carers in mind to allow testing of vision in familiar surroundings where children are most likely to perform at their best, so parents can check and monitor their child’s eyesight at home with confidence.

The iSight Test can also be used to help monitor changes in people with Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD), which is the most common cause of vision loss in those aged over 50 in the western world. ARMD causes a gradual loss of central vision, which can often interfere with near vision tasks such as reading, recognising faces, and driving. However, the loss of acuity can be difficult to appreciate, especially if there is established scarring, or when it develops in the non-dominant eye. By using iSight Test's built-in log, subtle changes over time can more easily be detected, allowing timely review and treatment.

Professionals will find the iSight Test invaluable as a portable visual acuity test in clinic, at the bedside or on home visits. The test was designed by two ophthalmologists and a paediatric orthoptist. It uses US and UK approved letters for testing older children and adults, and the Kay Picture Test to test children as young as eighteen months. Both tests are fully researched and validated with many years of clinical use.

The iSight Test comprises distance letter and picture tests and near vision testing. Near vision is presented in print sizes N48 to N5 as short story paragraphs that have been carefully worded to be easy for children to read. For younger children the near test version of the Kay Picture Test is available on some platforms.

Testing visual acuity with the iSight Test is simple and quick. For parents and non eye-care professionals there is general information on what to consider and expect when vision testing, as well as specific step-by-step instructions for letter and picture testing.

The test process itself is easy. Follow the on-screen instructions and indicate whether a picture or letter can be seen and identified. The 20 minute average lets you see if your contractions are increasing or decreasing relative to the last hour. The hour average and count lets you decide when to go to the hospital or birthing center.

Record the intensity of each contraction and use the handy charts to view the intensity, count, and spacing of contractions over time. Record notes with each contraction and review them in the history list. Edit or delete past contractions to fix typos or adjust the start time or duration of each one.

Email your list of contractions to yourself or your birthing team to monitor progress or document the event.

The app remembers all data and whether you were in the middle of a contraction or not between launches, so you can jump back and forth between this and your favorite game or another app to distract you during and between contractions.

-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period, you will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period.
Bundles of single issues can be also be bought within the application. To use purchased credits, simply click on the issue price and select ‘use credit’. This allows you to purchase back issues at reduced prices.


Users can register for/ login to a pocketmags account in-app. This will protect their issues in the case of a lost device and allow browsing of purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

We recommend loading the app for the first time in a wi-fi area so that all issue data is retrieved.
If your app will not load past the splash page after a first install or an update please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store

You can record feedings, nursing, naps, diapers, milestones, pumping, but also the baby’s mood, temperature, what kind of game he’s playing, his gps location, and attach pictures. A web interface is also accessible for free, so your nanny doesn't need an iPhone to view and enter information about your baby.
You can compare with previous day and previous week averages, and view the data on graphs to identify trends. You can view when was the last medicine or vaccine. You can also track weight, height, and head size, compare with the US or International percentiles and display the growth chart.

With Baby Connect, you have access to the updates from the caregiver while you're away.
